Hello everyone. Welcome to the site.

I need to ask everyone to follow a few rules so that we can all get a long a lot better. If these are not followed you will get a warning, followed by one last warning, then you get a one week ban from the site. After that, if you continue to not follow the rules, you will not be able to come back anymore. Sorry if that seems cruel, but it will help keep nice people in, and mean people out I guess you could say.

Rules

Try your best to post in the right board. Each board has a description but if the topic is not in the right place the staff will move it and you will not be able to get back into the topic unless you go to its new place. But don't worry, it shows a link to its moved spot.

Try not to state the obvious. When you come onto "The Strange Place" and you see something new, probably you aren't the first to see it. For example if there are new boards or a new look don't start a topic about it pointing out that they are there. However, you may start a topic saying something like: "Do you like the way it looks, or what they added?" Or something like that.

Do not post any links that results in a flood of pop ups.

Make sure your posts add to the discussion. Don't just go into a topic and post something like "What?" or "I don't care." Try to make your posts longer than one or two words. If the moderators seem to think that you are posting just to increase your post-count, you will be told so if the moderator feels you need to be. If you continue to do so, you will be warned and etc.

REWARDS FOR BEING ACTIVE

Multi coloured name- To get a multi coloured name, get 300 posts. Then message me, and I will be happy to give you one. (A multi colored name, is like the one I have. Any color you want) Or it can also just be ONE color if you wish.

Custom Titile- The title that is under my stars.

To get on of those, get 500 posts, and I will be happy to give you one. Yet, again, just PM me.

How to get a good password

To be sure of keeping your password strong and secure, make sure it contains alphanumerical digits and is at least 8-10 characters in length.

You can get a decent password Here.

Its best to choose 'complex' or 'really complex'.

Complex will generate: "6D:7A0{/M

Really complex will generate: & —·ªÄÎ¶Z

Those are just examples. Both are 10 characters long.

Changing your password is simple: Profile>Modify Profile>Enter new password>Save changes. You do not need to re-register with us or re-activate your account.

It is essential to have a secure password and never share it with anyone. This would be a violation of your agreement when you signed up. Not only that, someone who could hack your password could post in your username and post anything they like. This wouldn't be too clever now would it.

Be safe, strengthen your password now. If it looks complex and hard to remember, thats good yet very hard to guess....write it down with no reference as to what it is.

Let's not give hackers an easy ride!
